Eat.Drink.Blog – The Australian food and drink bloggers’ conference

After many months of planning, discussion and almost throwing in the towel, we will be having our first ever Australian food & drink bloggers’ conference – Eat Drink Blog. It is through perseverance and hard work of many food bloggers and of course, our sponsors, that this event is happening on the 21st of March, Sunday.
has happened yesterday.

I am really glad to be part of this event and will be part of the panel for ‘SEO and how to be social’. Presenting in front of fellow bloggers and friends feels a little daunting but thanks to advice from @stickifingers and @essjayeff, I feel much more relax about it now. By the way, did I mention that Pim from Chezpim will be making an appearance as well?

It was a great day and event. It started early at 8.45am and ended about 11pm. The organisers did a fantastic job (full credit will be given in blog post). The panelists were spot on and kept everyone very iterested. @Tammois is the best MC. She kept everyone in order! And everyone that turned up were such an inspirational bunch of people.

And the photo exibition that is sponsored by SBS Foods will run till the 28th of March 2010 at St. Ali. I am very humbled by all the beautiful and outstanding photography. Alot of time and effort has gone into many of these shots. So please do take time out to visit it.

This is the first of two videos that were taken that day. We were having cocktails made by Der Raum while waiting for our dinner that was prepared by Ben Cooper, St. Ali. One of the highlight of the dinner for us was the grilled Kingfish heads. I am still drooling thinking about it.
