Meatless Day Challenge #3 – Summer curry

by jeroxie January 6, 2010

It seems that I am ‘all curry’ this week. Made some chicken curry laksa over the weekend and made extra pasta for dinner earlier in the week. And also I headed over to Old Town Kopitiam for a dosh of roti goodness. And since I had leftover springs of curry leaves, it is great excuse to make another curry.

Toddlers running around, parents relaxing on the chairs and tables spread out in the middle of the market and the buzz of excited punters like me.

Slowfood farmers market

Anyway, it was a lovely morning. And I was not going to allow this setback to dampen my happy mood. Off we went with our empty bags and rumbling tummies.

Farmers’ market at Gaswork

by jeroxie June 21, 2009

There was a sense of excitement in the car as we turned round the corner towards Gaswork farmers’ market. Armed with our green bags, we walked through the gates and started our little fun and adventure. I was just like a kid in a candy store.
