Mister sent me an email one afternoon with a link to The Age. He was excited. And then I received an email from Ricky (son) asking if I like to come down and check out the place. After a couple of emails, our visit was penciled in.
Garden Tuscany in Moonee Ponds is really something special. The owners of the cafe have been living in the house infront of the cafe since 1972. Both are immigrants from Italy. They got married and then raised their children and now the back area is turned into this very unique cafe that serves fantastic food and drinks. All the ingredients are from local suppliers and they believe in recycling and tries hard to create a greener environment.

Provenance on Smith Street has been on my radar for awhile now. I have been reading about its “Seasonal Pleasures” degustation from other food blogs and also its infamous craft beer and cider Sundays. So when an invitation came for me and my plus one to experience “An Oeuf Roe Degustation Dinner”, I said “Hell yeah!”
