This theme has proven that is not a well loved ingredient Lavender to be used. Too much of it will make the dish smell and taste like eating potpourri. And also lavender is mostly associated with scented candles, soap and clothes softener. So I have to applaude everyone that join the party and had fun with it. We have sweet, savoury and even body lotion! Amazing collection of lavender dishes and a whole lot of creativity. There are combinations of flavour that I never thought could work together worked and looked fantastic.
So here we go, let’s check out what everyone has created. Some of you may be converted to like lavender a little more after this

What I can confirm is that lavender and chocolate are best friends. They compliment each other. There are so many tips from everyone that I enjoyed reading and learning. The effort that everyone made is overwhelming. Lavender is not found everywhere and in some countries, they are a rarity. So thanks again.

Wow, you guys really came up with some terrific creations with lavender! I’m personally a big fan of it, and especially loved the lavender syrup I’ve done for a past recipe. I’m so sorry I wasn’t participating this time. I hope I will come out of my “blogging blues” by the end of November

How insanely perfect do those Lavender grey macarons look??? Precision! I’m also not a huge fan of lavander.. once had a cupcake and almost gagged because like you said, it tasted like potpourri. These creations however do look tentalising but I’d have to get some courage to try!
