Went last night. Tried the satay, milo dinosaur, chicken chop, and the coke float.

Satay was pretty good. Easily one of the better satays I've eaten around Melbourne.

RJ, a Perthian, who loves Milo, said she'd died and gone to heaven when tasting the Milo Dinosaur. :-)
And my kid loved the float.

Chicken chop? Well, that took too long and only arrived after we'd eaten everything else, so we took that away.
So not sure if that was any good.

And they got the satay order wrong, gave us 6 instead of 12.

Which is ok, though I did hear the people sitting behind me raising the same issue to the waiter. ie they got 6 instead of 12 as well.

Will definitely return to try the other dishes.

So all good.

@Rilsta @ My Food Trail - Seems like it. I like the satay. I am afraid it is a little hit and miss but just as long they have good roti, I am satisfied.

@Christine@Christine's Recipes - Come and visit me!

@Jetsetting Joyce (MEL: HOT OR NOT) - Sure. Join me and I can tell you all about it ;)

@Celeste @ Berry Travels - Did you head to MY eventually?

@my spatula - that is a good sign ;)

@Ellie - Not sure if I can make it up :( No accom. Sigh :(

@MaryMoh - Glad it made you feel better to eat again ;)

@Vee @ Munching (in) Melbourne - It was drizzled but you can op for savory version

@Divina - Yes. Not had Milo dinosaur for a long time. Very very rich

@Cheah - Safeway and Coles are the places that I would go to for all basic baking ingredients. Not sure if there is a one stop shop for all. What is she looking for?

@Y - Call me first :)

@chai - Yeap. unless you can make it yourself

@Trix - Does seem that I eat alot. I am not skinny.... need to hit the gym more regularly

@3hungrytummies - It took awhile but Im glad it is here

@Shirley - It is alittle like tissue but no I have not. I am not sure what the proportions are for the bundung but happy to find out. Maybe I should make some!

@Cajun Chef Ryan - Yes, they are special drinks. Only served at kopitiams or mamak places

@Lisalicious - If you like roti, I suggest trying that too

@The Chickenless Chick - I will find out! Stay tune :)

@K - I agree but there are many ways to make peanut sauce. Some add kacap manis, some just use peanut butter and sugar. But serving food raw is a big no no. I guess I was lucky that the few times I went, everything was cooked through! BUt I have heard of people saying the same thing. Did you tell them about the raw food?

I had the Old Town Chicken Chop, about 10% are not cooked, but I still had it anyway after waiting for 30 mins. My husband Mee Goreng looks nice, taste is ok, but the mee is not fully cooked and still have raw sotong. We also order the beef satay, it tasted good, but the satay sauce kinda funny, definitely not authentic satay sauce.
