Salt. After having the opportunity to attend the launch of Salt Book, I definitely discovered a new found respect for salt. Salt can be used both savory and sweet. It enhances the flavours and no having salt makes food taste flat, undesirable. But of course, do not be heavy handed or we may end up with a total disaster. Respect the salt.
As usual, this is the you tube video that I found. I so want this block of Himalayan salt block!

Hi Penny, Oh it’s time for another IIP
Great ingredient you choose again. The video is so funny, specially the Cat. I will really try to see if I can participate. I’ve got so much going on right now and I’m not sure if I can commit this month. I hope I can squeeze in creating a new recipe for the IIP. Either way I am looking forward to everyones submissions.

I’m in making something a bit odd. But there you go, it’s all about challenging yourself, right?
