Amazing. Delightful. Sweet. Fabulous. Spectacular. Orgasmic!
After many weeks of looking at delicious and yummy instagram photos of Flour and Stone by both @adamgdunn and @KewpieLovesYou, I could not wait for another weekend to come by to check it out. It was one of the more horrible and wet Saturday morning in Sydney. The rain had not gone away in days and we were miserable. Despite the rain, I was more than determine to finally get my greedy hands on the beautiful looking baked goods. Mister and I rugged up, hopped into the car and drove down to Woolloomoolo.
This post will be quite photo heavy with few words. The images will speak louder than words. Enjoy!
Amazing apple pie. Amazing pastry. Not too sweet and just the right touch of acidity from the apples.
Coffee made from Coffee Alchemy beans. It was ok. Can’t complain when the baked goods are to die for.
One can never have enough of tarts. However, I do prefer if it was a little warmer.
I must try these eclairs next time. We bumped into @adamgdunn and his boss (wife, of course). We did not plan on the coincidence but knew that each other were heading down. We are hardcore food greeds. Anyway, she had one of these and loved it. It does look super awesome.
This old fashion vanilla cake look so hot. I wished I ordered one to eat or take away. It looks so super soft and the fatty cream and jam is calling my name.
I love donuts. Do you?
The pies (chicken or lamb) is usually out of the oven by 10.30am. Yes, we waited and was adequately rewarded with generous flavour and flaky pastry.
And then more goodies came out from kitchen. Sour cherry brownies!
And then followed by the salted caramel chocolate brownies. O M G…. I will return my babies!!
I enjoyed this super delicious pannacotta lamington. It is super soft and felt light. Delicious!
Flour and Stone is a slight diversion on the way to work. So guess what? I popped over for a slice for this beautiful hazelnut torte. The cake was light and moist. It had a soft hazelnut flavour but bits of nuts through the cake. The ganache was perfect and love the whole hazelnuts crunch as well. It is defintely worth the extra 8 minutes of walk to work, don’t you think?
