Meatless Monday #25 (Guest Post) – New Orleans Style Gumbo Z’Herbes

by jeroxie June 17, 2010

Trix (Tasty Trix) and I probably started blogging about a month apart. I think we hit it off blog-wise almost instantly. I love her style of writing – simple and very personable. She totally won me over when she wrote an a series of “12 Days of Feasting: Medieval Meals for Your Holiday Table” over the Christmas festive season last year. It was brilliant and what a great insight of the sort of dedicated and real person she is.
She took us along on her travels to Vienna and Budapest. It was an education of places, foods and goodies that I have never seen or heard before. To top it up, I was over the moon when she tried my chai tow kway recipe and it worked beautifully. It is always nice to know that a recipe worked and someone else out there love it.

Arty Cupcakes by Celeste from Travelling in Mary Janes

by jeroxie May 9, 2010

Celeste and I met at the first Nuffnang end of the year party last year. It is so easy to pick out a fellow Singaporean with the undeniable Singlish! I knew that she is really clever with her hands. She made some really cute cupcake and meringue earrings, she can knit, she can sew. She is able to do all those craft stuff that I can only dream of. And then I found out that she loves food (typical Singaporean, yah) and she loves to cook! YAY!

My first guest post – How to prepare proper fishcakes

by jeroxie February 23, 2010

I was over the moon when Divina of Sense & Serendipity asked if I would be a guest blogger for her blog. Actually, I did panic a little as I have little knowledge of healthy foods. So this was a real challenge for me and one that I wanted to do well.

Some of you may find Divina quite familiar. She was my first guest blogger while I was away in Bali and crafted this beautiful post – Pineapple Quinoa with Goji Berries and Arugula. Her blog is full of yummy but nutritional recipes. Her stories are heart warming and she has always been supportive not only to me but many other bloggers.

Presenting Rochelle & her Coffee Granita with Chocolate and Vanilla pudding

by jeroxie November 13, 2009

Since joining foodbuzz, I have met and grew to know more food bloggers from everywhere. America, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Canada and the list goes on. My third guest blogger, Rochelle of Acquired Taste, is currently living in Canada with her hubby and son. I am not sure why but I was really drawn to her style of blogging and to her as a person. She is such a genuine person, easy going and a great mum and wife. These qualities really shows in the way she writes about her food and family. I just love reading her stories.

Who is Lisalicious?

by jeroxie November 10, 2009

Lisa and I bumped into each in the twitter world. She has a blog, Chewak and she writes about her views on relationships and whatever else that happens to her and around her. It is her personal diary and find it really refreshing as she is very transparent about her views. She has recently arrived in Melbourne to start a new adventure and thought it would be nice to get her to pen her views about Melbourne and what she thought of the food so far.
