Korean roast pork neck and a Scanpan Giveaway

It’s Christmas and the time for giving. The lovely people from Kitchenware Direct asked what will I like to review next. There are so many gadgets that I absolutely love to have. For example, the Bodum Bistro Table Green or the health conscious, Cuisinart 3 tier steamer. As some of you may know, we moved from a larger house to a relatively smaller unit in Sydney. That meant our kitchen has shrunk and the oven is no longer a 5 burner but a 4. Our roasting trays no longer fit and have to be stored away. So I chose the Scanpan classic medium size roaster with lid. This is just one of the reason. Another reason can be found within the blog post.

Procrastination. This sums up everything about me. I procrastinate too much. Just like this post. I am just going to blame it on all on procrastination. It has been a month since we drove from Victoria to NSW and so there are no more excuses! Autumn and Winter means that fruits like oranges, lemons and apples are in season. Mister and myself are a lover of fruits. I feel that is an Asian thing to have fruits after dinner. In summer, fruits after dinner are usually watermelons, mangoes, papaya, various stone fruits and the occasional pineapple and strawberries. Mid autumn and very much into winter, I love having oranges, mandarins, apples and pears. This year it is no different. Seasonal apples are starting to pop up in farmers market and also supermarkets around Australia.

Christmas is only a blink of an eye away. It is an excuse to drink and eat lots. We can worry about our expanded waistline after the New Year. And what I also love about Christmas are the presents. We give and we receive. Many will agree with me that it is so much fun opening presents and giving others great surprises.

Private Practice Season 3 & a DVD Giveaway

I am a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and initially Private Practice was more of an extension to it for me. But after Season 1, this drama began to grew on me. It has a good cast of people and Addison (Kate Walsh) has grown into the role and is doing a great job. She used to be my least favourite character in Grey’s Anatomy but she is now one of my favourite. It is interesting to watch and go through the roller roaster emotions with her.

This is a long time coming and I am so embarrassed. I need to be more vigilant in my scheduling of blog posts. I have so much backlog. There is no way that I can stop cooking or eating and now baking. Yes, I do love it very much now and getting more into baking. It is becoming an addiction. Opps! She will be living subjects in the studio with another 2 lovely ladies, Lara McPherson & Carrie Sze. I offered to make them lunch and also to check out their living space for those couple of days.
