We are spoilt for lunch choices in the city. Fran suggested that we check out this new joint – 1000 £ BEND (361 Little Lonsdale St). This place is massive! It is a huge warehouse like space. There are tables, couches, odd tables. I thought I was walking into a secondhand furniture shop! Really quirky and boho style. It seems that there will be more cool stuff happening in the near future – read here for more info. Just to note: photos are taken with my iphone.
The lunch menu was not extensive but it served it purpose. I had a beef & barley soup ($6), Fran had a pumpkin soup ($5) and Joanne had a lagsana ($10). The blackboard behind the counter shows that they do have a breakfast menu that consists of toasts & burritos. This place has potential. And I can’t wait till the rest of the space is ready!
