International Scones Incident Party

by jeroxie on August 1, 2010

in eating out

Scones reminds me high tea. And it seems best when eaten simply with butter or jam with a cup of tea. It is indeed a very simple pleasure in life that I don’t do quite often enough. With all the new and trending breads, sweets, cakes and desserts, scones seem to have taken a back seat. I hope that this month’s party can bring the old fellow back into the limelight.

Simple rules for August’s International Incident Scones Party!

  1. Dishes must be on theme, of course. And please LINK back to me and my co-hosts, Anh of  A food’s lover journey & Cherrie of Sweet Cherrie Pie
  2. We will all post the dish on the 22nd of August at 11am (Melbourne) – You can convert to your local time here.
  3. Please email to International Incident Mailbox
    • Your name & Blog URL
    • Name & URL of dish
    • 300x300px of dish
  4. Please upload image and link to flickr group – International Incident. This will be shared with everyone around the world
  5. TOTALLY OPTIONAL - Add #sconesparty #iip when sharing your creation on twitter or upload photo or link on IIP Facebook fan page
  6. Most importantly, ENJOY yourself

**** Please remember to use Linky below to add yourself to the list and also add a comment so that I am able to contact you via email if there are any updates or changes. ****

August Babies

Very important part of this party is to be able to come together to celebrate the birthday of fellow food bloggers globally.  This month we have both Anh of  A food’s lover journey & Cherrie of Sweet Cherrie Pie . They will be co-hosting the party with me!

And please do let me know if it is your birthday month as well. :)

Yay I love scones, I'm excited for this IIP too . The video is great , that's a place I'd love to eat at. I may have to ask for less butter & cream though, hehe

I'm looking forward to making scones! I've had some excellent ones in Ireland on our trip but since I'm going to be covering Greece first, perhaps I will do a savory one with Greek flavors :) Should be fun!
